How trading works
These pretend credits are called bits.
New accounts start with 10,000 credits
You get this starting amount once; you cannot buy more.
Let's start with a question
- YES
- 60%
- NO
- 40%
Let's say you think YES, so you choose it. You enter 600 credits. A quick estimate is:
600 credits divided by 60 creditsper share equals 10 YES shares
Buying makes the price rise a little, so the review screen may offer slightly fewer than 10. It shows the exact amount before you confirm. To keep this example simple, we will round that to 10 shares. After spending 600 credits, your wallet has 9,400 credits left.
Let's see how it ends
Using our rounded 10 shares, each winning share pays 100 credits. Losing shares pay 0 credits.
- If YES wins
- 10 shares multiplied by 100 credits equals 1,000 creditspayout9,400 credits plus 1,000 credits equals 10,400 creditstotal10,400 credits minus 10,000 credits equals 400 creditsgain
- If NO wins
- 10 shares multiplied by 0 credits equals 0 creditspayout9,400 credits plus 0 credits equals 9,400 creditstotal10,000 credits minus 9,400 credits equals 600 creditsloss
You can sell early
You do not have to wait. Let's say the game later offers 750 credits for all 10 shares.
750 credits minus 600 creditsspent equals 150 creditsgain
Once you sell, those shares will not pay when the market ends.
When people buy YES, its price goes up; when they sell YES, its price goes down. The same works for NO. Check the review screen each time.
Your goal:grow your total and climb the leaderboard. Your score counts your wallet balance plus the game's estimate of what your shares are worth.
Credits and shares are only for play and have no cash value.
